Get to know Me
Hey! I'm Hannah Jayne!
I am a busy-bee! But I LOVE it! I am a full time dog mom of 3. I have a pit mix (Draco, 4), a Rottweiler (Harley, 2), and an XL Bully (Melvin, 1). So basically all puppies! I also have 2 cats, a snake, and a leopard gecko! I grew up on a farm in Cleveland, Wi where I got to take care of horses, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, you name it! Animal lover is an understatement. I am a manager 30ish hours a week at a dog grooming/boarding facility where I get to bring my dogs to work with me (the best part!), and take my dogs to classes 2-3 days a week. They have multiple titles...To say we work hard TOGETHER is an understatement. They also make great models for practice photos! When I'm not doing photography or working at the kennel- I enjoy hiking, fishing, cooking/baking, taking backroads and blaring 80's-00's rock music, and spending whatever time I can get with my fiancé, Austin! He will occasionally be with me at sessions to help out, so when you see him, make sure to tell him he has the best/coolest soon-to-be-wife ever, and you'll get $ off your next session ;)
Why I do this
At a very young age, I got my first Disney Princess camera. My passion began the moment I picked up that camera, and just so happens to be the one thing I've never stopped loving whole-heartedly. Of course, I am not still using a Disney Princess camera, but I can promise my photo skills have majorly improved since then! I am happiest with a camera in my hands, and love capturing memories/special moments for others. My goal is to always provide you with images I would love if they were my own.
Are we a good match?
If you don't mind movement, laughter, some intentional chaos, and candid over posed photos...We will get along great. I love a client who can trust me and the process, show up with their best attitude, embrace anything the session throws our way, and is down for my silly ideas. You would be surprised to find out that your best photos will almost always come from the silliest prompts.
Fun Facts about me
- I spend more on my 3 dogs every month than I do on myself in 1 year. (Yes, I did the math.)
- I listen to a ton of Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac, and Marilyn Manson. That's what you'll hear on volume 100 in my car if you pull up next to me...Just pretend you don't see me jamming out please. LOL!
- My entire upper body is covered in tattoos, as well as one of my thighs. AND, I'm fully aware they are permanent! Hehe!!
- Nothing really grosses me out...Try me.
- If I'm not photographing people or animals, I genuinely enjoy doing landscape photography, and entering my work into competitions.
- I grew up with all boys. I didn't fight fair...But I definitely won every match!!
- I am naturally a bleach blondie! Will I return?? Good question.
